Investigate before starting a home business

by OurChapters on Sep.30, 2009, under OurChapters

Make $10K in 2 months with no extra work!  Oh, no, “Run, Forest, Run!  Not another one! I don’t know about you, but all you need to remember is you need to do your “Due Diligence” first!

Be prepared to investigate a home based business that you think you could do well at. Your choice of a company will depend on whether you are business oriented or product oriented or people oriented.  Before starting any business, be proactive and ask a lot of questions such as:

  1. What is the business track record complying with laws of the USA and Internationally?
  2. What makes this business model distinct from other business in the industry?
  3. How are the products created, manufactured, and where?
  4. Google the company to find out more information on them.
  5. The following is personal advice from me…Binary programs, Force Matrixes, and One-up programs are hard to understand for many people and rarely are a long-term business.  People have lost a lot of money in them and 99% of them fail within the first 3 years.  They do not last, whereas a Uni-level program is much safer and lucrative in the long run.
  6. What is the Buy-in to get involved and is it necessary to get to the higher levels?  My advice…I’d stay away from any program that requires a large buy-in if you pay more money.  Large buy-in to me is, “What am I willing to lose?”
  7. Is there inventory that needs to be purchased?  Usually get them from large buy-ins.
  8. What kind of marketing structure is available to help you succeed at the business?
  9. What kind of training? |What kind of support? |What are the resources and tools does the company have to help you be successful?}

MLM or Network Marketing over the past 10 years or so is gaining much more popularity and is gaining respect from people such as Robert T. Kiyosaki and Donald Trump in their book, “Why We Want You to Be Rich”.  I would suggest, do not go to the scam sites on the Internet.

If you do, you will probably feel the weight of the world on your shoulders and not do anything, but sulk.  They are very negative people and have nothing to say good about anything except their site.

Here is another way to make good income on the Internet.

Another way to make money is learning how to build profitable websites using affiliate programs such as Google Adsense, Amazon Affiliate program, LinkShare, and Clickbank, just to name a few.  Use an affiliate site and promote it in a blog.

You can see some examples like these State Insurance Deals or Market Samurai or in Japanese Secret.

Learn how Shock absorbers play an important part in your vehicle’s suspension system!

by OurChapters on Sep.30, 2009, under OurChapters

Monroe shock absorbers play an integral role in your car’s suspension system. You need to replace the Monroe shock absorbers when evident signs of wear become apparent, otherwise your safety and comfort in your car could become compromised. Monroe shock absorbers work by easing the compression and extension of the car’s Monroe suspension springs to prevent ongoing bouncing. Monroe shocks work to absorb road impact, prevent excessive rebound, limit sway and improve overall road handling. When your Monroe shocks are working properly, your car holds on to the road whether you are braking, negotiating a bend in the road, driving on bumpy roads or experiencing strong side winds. If worn out, your Monroe shocks can cause you to lose control of your car and put you, your passengers and riders in other cars in danger.

The most well know name in shock absorbers is Monroe. Monroe invented the first shock absorber when cars were still riding on carriage springs, and the company has been innovating ever since. Shock absorbers [or struts] play an important part in your vehicle’s suspension system. You need to replace them when certain signs of wear becomes evident, otherwise your safety and comfort can become compromised.

A shock absorber works by “damping” the compression and extension of the vehicle’s suspension springs to prevent ongoing bouncing. Shocks work to soften road impact, prevent excessive rebound, limit sway, and improve overall road handling. When your shocks are working properly your car holds the road whether you are braking, negotiating a bend in the road, driving on bumpy roads or experiencing strong side winds. When worn out, shocks can contribute to you losing control of your car putting you, your passengers, and riders in other vehicles in grave danger.

Hawaii Vacation Rentals – Tips For A Great Experience

by OurChapters on Sep.30, 2009, under OurChapters

When planning a trip, most vacationers want to find the perfect balance between quality and value. Often, the perfect way to find both is to investigate a Hawaii vacation rental near the attractions you wish to experience. These rentals are often cheaper than hotels but provide a more authentic local experience at the Hawaiian Islands.

There are a vast array of possibilities for finding a place to rent on the island. You can leave the job up to a professional, you can search for yourself using the network or print advertisements, or you can leave the job to your future spouse!

However you end up locating a place to stay in Hawaii, remember there are other things you need to investigate. Send mail or speak with the person who manages the house and get any issues you may have down in writing. You need to make clear what your responsibilities are, what needs to be done while you are leasing, and make a checklist of things necessary before you leave the island.

While researching Maui rentals, be sure to research, or inquire, whether or not the property is close to the airport as well as if the rental can be reached using a two wheel drive vehicle.

Among the questions you should ask the landlord about your Maui vacation rental, consider asking about the usual rainfall amounts in that area of the island and if you will be able to pick fruits or flowers from the home’s yard. You might also want to ask the owner about the neighbors, nearby sights for tourists, and any other amenities.

One of the best ways to find rental accommodations in Hawaii is by visiting http://www.greathawaiivacationrentals.com. Often, the easiest way narrow your selection of accommodations is to investigate rentals near the attractions you wish to experience. For instance, if you are staying at a Kauai rental, be sure to inquire as to whether or not the property is close to popular beaches and tourist attractions.

by OurChapters on Sep.30, 2009, under OurChapters

As part of the Australian Government stimulus package they have introduced the home insulation program which offers free ceiling insulation to a cost of up to $1,600 to owner-occupiers, landlords and tenants Melbourne wide, indeed all over Australia.

The roof insulation rebate program is aimed at homes that are currently have no insulation, or have some ceiling insulation and were built before 2003. This is when the mandatory thermal performance requirements under the Building Code of Australia were introduced.

If the total cost of free insulation install is less than $1,600 there will be no extra money the houseowner has to pay. Calculations say that this will be the case for the majority of Melbourne households. In the event that the cost of the insulation is above $1,600, the home owner will have to pay the difference, or the total amount if they are ineligible. This is why it is vital to read the eligibility document.

I-20 Visas

by OurChapters on Sep.30, 2009, under OurChapters

How to study in the United States as a Foreign Student

So you want to study at a university in the United States, but you are a citizen of another country. Students from countries such as Korea, Japan, China, India, and others regularly study in the United States by obtaining a visa from a school that is authorized to issue I-20 visas. I-20 visas are what allow foreign students to study in the United States legally.

One question to consider early on is whether you wish to apply to a United States university directly from the high school in your country, or whether you wish to attend a college preparatory (high school) in the United States. A major benefit of attending college prep in the United States is that they often already have built strong relationships with the university you wish to attend. For example, the University of California system, in many cases, has already pre-approved transferrable courses at high schools accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges). Such high schools are already familiar with the admission requirements of various universities, as well.

When looking at high schools in the United States, you should make sure that their affiliations connect them with top tier universities. But more importantly, you need to make sure that the high school you are considering is authorized to issue I-20 visas to foreign students.

Becoming authorized to issue I-20 visas to foreign students is a process managed by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). It requires a lengthy review of the school petitioning for approval, so be sure the school you are considering has already obtained this approval before spending much time on their application process.

Spending an extra four years at a United States private college prep school, can pay off big time when it comes to getting into top Universities.

Affordable Kitchen Remodeling with Granite Countertops

by OurChapters on Sep.30, 2009, under OurChapters

So you’re starting a major kitchen remodeling! Have you considered the possibilities of granite for your counter surfaces? Strength and durability aside, this material comes in such variable colorations and textures that a kitchen granite countertop could add considerable drama to your kitchen design. Practically speaking, it’s easy to clean, it can deal with hot objects, and if you’ve got kids it will take whatever they can dish out. You can have the best of both worlds; a distinctive looking room made of a stone that can also withstand an active family.

Between the wide range of granite colors and the differences in internal graining, there is an almost limitless combination of looks you can achieve in your kitchen planning. For example, a black granite countertop with small gold flecks would add a dramatic contrast to all white cabinetry, while the same black counter, with cabinets of darker wood, may infuse a bit of smoldering elegance. If you’re not fond of the high polish and shine that many of these custom countertops exhibit, then you can easily acquire a honed stone instead, where the sheen is more natural.

And why stop just with the granite countertops, while you’re doing the kitchen remodeling? If there’s a table right in the kitchen, or if you have an attached dining room, then you might want to consider granite table tops too. These can be elegant as well as utilitarian, withstanding damage probably better than any other table surface. Or if granite is still a bit out of your financial range, then perhaps Corian countertops or table tops might work for you. This product, manufactured by DuPont, is supposed to be similar to granite in appearance and qualities. However, the reviews suggest that not everyone has had a positive experience, so you’d need to consider the cost of going with granite now compared to a new renovation in a few years.

With custom granite countertops now being so popular, the range of options is wide open as you start on your kitchen remodeling. By now, every major home renovation company includes this stone as one of the available possibilities, and they will arrange not just the cutting of the material to meet specific design specifications, but will usually handle the granite countertop installation as well. If you invest in granite for your kitchen, you are not only creating a beautiful room, but something that will endure for a long time to come.

Critical Ilness Insurance The Whole Story

by OurChapters on Sep.29, 2009, under OurChapters

Summary
A data sheet scrutinising life insurance , what the insurance will cover and what it won’t and the concomitant facts. Take a good look at this article

amalgamate best life insurance and critical illness cover , paying out whichever happens first; Death or critical illness

If you are diagnosed as having a life-threatening condition then critical illness insurance will pay out a tax-free lump sum.

Not covered

Illnesses are only covered if they meet specifically with the insurance policies classification. If a condition is classed as insufficiently severe, such as some types of cancer, it will not be covered.

Likewise, after once reaching a particular age, a lot of insurance policies do not cover selected complaints. For instance many insurers will not cover Alzheimer’s if diagnosed after the age of sixty.

Also, most policies do not cover:

HIV- and Aids-connected conditions – except for, comtamination from a blood transfusion, owing to physical assault or from working within the emergency services, health service or the Military.

Flying – any thing other than ordinary business and holiday flights; Self-inflicted injuries; Drug abuse or alcohol; Taking part in dangerous sports and activities

Not taking medical advice

Insurance will cover
To be critical illness a policy must follow a set procedure and provide some of the conditions listed below.

Heart atack – if adequately severe; Stroke – resulting in permanent symptoms; Cancer – advanced cases. On the other hand,a large amount of policies cover more than these three illnesses. Multiple sclerosis, kidney failure, major organ transplants and bypass surgery are more often than not insured in basic plans.

Hearing or sight that can never recover and incurable disabilities, that stops you working, are insured in detailed plans. Some cover against the losing of a limb.

War, rioting or civil commotion; A number of insurance policies settle a claim over and above a “survival period” of generally twenty five days, not on on confirmation of injury. If you die within 26 days of meeting the policies conditions, no settlement will be made.

Critical illness insurance – Where to get it
An independent financial consultant or insurance broker can guide you on purchasing critical illness insurance cover as plans change so much. They are able to assist in which policy is best fitted to your circumstances.

An insurance broker will also tell you how much cover and for how long you need it and if critical illness and life cover combined would be beneficial.

No insurance would pay out if you previously had a life-threatening disease when you took out the insurance policy. It could be the same if you had prior to buying the insurance visited your GP regarding a problem that turned out to be critical critical.

When purchasing for insurance cover it is imperative that you respond to question correctly.facts that are not divulged could result in claimsbeen turned down.

Premiums
Premiums alter depending on a a number of aspects, likeage, if you smoke, the policy chosen and the amount you want the policy to pay out.

Making a claim
Be certain to stay within the life assurance cover guidelines, if you put in a claim. The insurance policy, for instance, may need a diagnosis from a UK medicial practitioner who specialises in medicine associated with your disease. A General Practitioners diagnosis may not be adequate.

Your pay out will be revoked if your critical illness does not comply with any definitions listed in your policy .

Choices
Income protection insurance policy is probably a better selection for some. If, as a result of an accident or illness (not specifically critical) you incapable of working then you will get a tax-free income.
